The British Swimming Pool Federation

The BSPF brings together in one organisation the UK bodies representing contractors, manufacturers, distributors and retailers of swimming pools, spas, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms and associated equipment.

BSPF, the British Swimming Pool Federation incorporates:

SPATA (The Swimming Pool & Allied Trades Association): Setting and publishing technical standards for construction and operation of pools, spas, saunas and steam rooms. Technical advice and mediation services are also available.
BISHTA (The British and Irish Spa and Hot Tub Association): The association for the domestic self-contained spa and hot tub market, promoting safe spa water for the public.
SPATEX (The annual trade exhibition for the Industry): The exhibition for professionals in the design, installation, retailing, maintenance, operation and management of pools, spas, saunas and ancillary equipment. And the showcase for the private market – pool owners and would-be owners alike.
STA (The Swimming Teachers Association): The world’s largest swim teaching and lifesaving organisation, providing qualifications to the sports and leisure industry.
